![]() There are two scenarios where a structure within the JSON wouldn’t be tied to a named property. ![]() These elements represent unnamed structures within the JSON. The JSON-XML namespace is used for only a handful of elements within the document. For all future transformations, it is highly recommended to stay with the new JSON-XML in Version 2.0. ![]() If there are existing transformations in production using Version 1.0, it is recommended that they are left alone unless there is a need for more precise handling of the JSON in XML. JSON messages get converted into XML using the JSON-XML schema, and JSON-XML documents are converted into precisely constructed JSON messages. Version 2.0 is the new, JSON-XML style of conversion. It will convert JSON to XML and XML to JSON, however without using the JSON-XML schema the conversion will be less precise and special JSON constructs like arrays will be hard to define. Any existing JSON transformations from eiPlatform/eiConsole installations versions 17R2 or older will still default to using this option. Version 1.0 is the old, non-JSON-XML style of converting JSON to/from XML. Because this style of converting JSON to/from XML was so different from past approaches, the JSON Transformer was versioned for this release. JSON-XML was added to the JSON Transformation Module in the PilotFish application for the 18R1 release of the eiPlatform/eiConsole.
